receive the same as other county charges in said county are le-
vied collected and paid.
4. AND BE IT ENACTED, That the said commission-
ers shall have and be allowed by the levy court of Harford
county, two dollars per day for each and every day that they
shall attend in discharge of their duties under the provisions of
this act.

CHAPTER. 60.
An act annulling the marriage of Peregrine Emory, and
Kitty E. Emory of Queen Ann's County.
Sec. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the marriage of the said Peregrine Emory, and
Kitty E. Emory his wile, heretofore solemnized be, and the
same is hereby declared to be absolutely and to all intents and
purposes null and void, and the said Peregrine Emory and
Kitty E. Emory his wife, are hereby declared to be divorced
a vinculo matrimonii; Provided always, That nothing in this
act contained shall be construed to illegitimate any children
which they the said Peregrine Emroy and Kitty E. Emory his
wife may have born prior to the passage of this act.

CHAPTER 61.
An act authorising a lattery to raise a sum of money to pur-
chase ground and build a school house, in the neighborhood
of Ballengers Creek Mills in Frederick County.
Sec. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Richard Cromwell, Christian Kemp, Christi-
an Keifer, George Buckey, and Henry Kemp or a majority of
them, be and they are hereby authorised, to propose a scheme of
a lottery for raising a sum of money not exceeding eight hun-
dred dollars, and to sell and dispose of the tickets thereof; Pro-
vided, that the said Richard Cromwell, Christian Kemp, Chris-
tian Keifer, George Buckey, and Henry Kemp or a majority
of them, before they proceed to the sale of any ticket or tick-
ets in said lottery, shall give bond to the State of Maryland,
in the penalty of sixteen hundred dollars, conditioned that
they will well and truly apply the monies arising therefrom,
within ninety days after the drawing thereof to the payment of
the prizes drawn therein, to the adventurers to whom they shall
be due, and after deducting the necessary expences incurred in
the management thereof, shall apply the residue within twelve
months to the purchasing a suitable piece of ground in the
neighbourhood of Ballanger's creek mills and building a school
house thereon.
2. AND BE IT ENACTED, That the said bond shall be
lodged in the clerk's office of Frederick county, to be there re-
corded, and upon such bond or any office copy thereof, suit or
suits may be instituted for any breach or non-compliance with,
the conditions thereof.

CHAPTER 62.
A supplement to an act entitled, an act authorising the justices
of the Orphan's Courts to take Sheriff's bonds.
Sec. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
