three thousand dollars be levied and assessed in the manner
prescribed by the act to which this is a supplement, that is to
say, one third in the year eighteen hundred and sixteen, an oth-
er third in the year eighteen hundred and seventeen, and the
remainder in the year eighteen hundred and eighteen; which
sums together with the commission for collecting the same shall
be collected in the mode pointed out in the original act.
4. AND BE IT ENACTED, That all such part or parts
of the act to which this is a supplement, as is or are repugnant
to this act, be and the same is and are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 127.
A supplement to the act entitled, an act to authorise Zephaniah
Waters of Charles County, to raise by lottery a sum of mo-
ney fur the purpose therein mentioned.
Sec. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Clement Dorsey, Charles L. Smith, Theodore
Mudd, Nicholas Miles and Zephaniah Waters be, and they are
hereby appointed commissioners, in lieu of those named in the
act to which this is a supplement, and are fully invested with
all the rights, powers and privileges given to the commissioners
named in the act to which this is a supplement.

CHAPTER 128.
An act to authorise the levy court of Harford County to levy
money for building a bridge.
Sec 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the levy court of Harford county shall levy
such sum of money as they in their judgment shall deem ne-
cessary, not exceeding three hundred dollars, for erecting a
bridge over a, washed gutter, occasioned by the overflowing of
Deer Creek, at Robert Gover's mills, on the road leading from
St. George's chappel to Havre De-Grace.
2. AND BE IT ENACTED, That Joshua Husband is
hereby appointed to superintend the erection of said bridge,
and required to do the same or have it dene at the least possi-
ble expence, that will serve the public convenience as he in his
judgment shall think proper.
3. AND BE IT ENACTED, That the said Joshua Hus-
band shall be allowed one dollar and fifty cents per day for
every day that he shall necessarily attend in performing the
duties imposed upon him by this act, and shall draw orders up-
on the collector in whose hands the money may be placed by
the levy court, in favor of the laborers or such persons at may
furnish materials for erecting said bridge as contracted for by
him, which orders with receipts thereon shall be sufficient
vouchers for the collector in settling his account with the court;
Provided, the same shall not exceed the sum levied for the
purpose of building the bridge as aforesaid.

CHAPTER 129.
An additional supplement to an act entitled, an act to erect a
Town in Queen Ann's County.
Sec. 1 BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the commissioners of the Town of Centre-
ville be, and they are hereby authorised and empowered, to
levy annually a sum of money not exceeding two hundred dol-
