given.

3. AND BE IT ENACTED, That the said John
Ireland before he derives any benefit from or under this
net, shall lodge a copy of his collection books in the
clerks' office of Calvert county, to be opened for the in-
sectIon of all persons interested in the same, and give
public notice thereof by advertisement to be get up at the
court house door, and other public places in said county.

CHAPTER 51.

An act to authorise and empower the levy court of Anne-
Arundel county to assess and levy a sum of money for
the support and maintenance of Rebecca Lee, and her
eight children.
Section 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the levy court of Anne-Arun-
del county be, and they are hereby authorised and em-
powered at their annual meeting so long as they shall
see cause so to do, to assess and levy on the assessable
property of said county a sum of money not exceeding
thirty dollars, towards the support and maintenance of
the said Rebecca Lee and her eight children, which said
sum of money when collected shall be annually paid
over by the collector of Anne-Arundel county, to the
said Rebecca Lee or to her order.

An act for the relief of Valinda Wonnen Conaway, of
the city of Annapolis.
Section 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the justices of the levy court of
Anne-Arundel county shall be and they are hereby di-
rected and empowered, at their levy court annually, to
assess and levy on the assessable property of said coun-
ty, a sum of money not exceeding thirty dollars, for the
support and maintenance of Valinda Wonnen Conaway,
and that the same be collected annually by the collector
of Anne-Arundel county, and paid to the said Valinda
Wonnen Conaway, or to her order.

An act for the relief of Henry hazard, (of John,) of
Montgomery county.
Section 1. BE IT ENACTED, by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That Henry Howard, (of John.)
of Montgomery county be, and he is hereby authorised
and empowered to remove, import and bring into this
state, at any time within one year after the passage of
this act, the slave he may be entitled to under the grant
or bona fide gift of Judith S. Graham of Jefferson
county and commonwealth of Virgin a; and which slave
shall have been a resident of the commonwealth of Vir-
ginia three whole years next preceding such removal or
