CHAPTER 6.

ary 27, 1858.

AN ACT entitled an act to secure the more speedy
payment of the Bailiffs, Crier and Talesmen of
the Circuit Court for Carroll county.

Money due to
be paid on pre-
sentation of the
certificate of
clerk.

SECTION 1. Be. it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the county commissioners
for Carroll county, be and they are hereby autho-
rised and required to pay to the Bailiffs, Crier and
Talesmen of the Circuit Court for Carroll county,
at its several sessions, the several sums of money
due to them for their respective services as such
Baliffs, Crier and Talesmen, immediately on the
presentation to the said commissioners of the certi-
ficate of their attendance and service from the
clerk of said court.

In force.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 7.

Passed Febru-
ary 1, 1858.

AN ACT to refund to the widow of Walter H.
Adamson, late Register of Wills of Montgom-
ery county, the tax on the commission of Regis-
ter of Wills, paid by said Adamson.

Treasurer au-
thorised to pay.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Treasurer be, and he
is hereby directed to pay to the order of Ruth
Adamson, on the warrant of the Comptroller, the
sum of fifty dollars.

In force.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after the day of its passage.
