98. An act granting the leave of the Legislature, to a be-
quest made in the last will and testament of Leah Gale, late
of Cecil county, deceased, for the support of a Minister of the
Protestant Episcopal church, at Saint Mark's chapel, in said
county.

99. An act to amend the acts passed at December session,
1843, chapter 174, and December session, 1849, chapter 373,
reducing the tax on the auction licenses for Allegany county,
referred to in said acts.

100. An act relating to the public road dividing the coun-
ties of Somerset and Worcester.

101. An act to preserve the existence of the St. Mary's
Female Seminary.

102. An act entitled, an act to change the name of Wesley
Fremont Davis, of Montgomery county, to Wesley Reid Da-
vie.

103. An act to incorporate the Columbia and Port Deposit
Railroad Company.

104. An act to provide for the refunding of a certain sum
of money paid into the State Treasury.

105. An act appropriating a sum of money for the render-
ing more secure, against fire, the State House, and the Pub-
lic Archives, for erecting a fire-proof Record office, and for
enlarging the State Library room, and the Hall of the House
of Delegates.

106. An act entitled, an act for the better regulation of
primary schools in Howard county.

107. An act to provide for the relief of the poor and indi-
gent persons of Somerset county.

108. An act to make valid the recording of a deed from
William Williams, and wife, to George David Racine, by the
clerk of the Circuit Court for Cecil county.

109. An act relating to coupons paid and returned to the
Treasurer, and certificates of stock purchased for the augmen-
tation of the sinking fund, and to repeal resolution No. 8, of
December session, 1840.

110. An act to relieve Mathias N. Lindsey, sheriff of Wor-
cester county, from the payment of certain taxes in chancery,
and fines and forfeitures due the State of Maryland, in the
years, 1842, '43 and '44.
