50. An act to authorise the County Commissioners of Bal-
timore county, to levy on the assessable property of said
county, a sufficient amount of money to increase the wages
of laborers on the public roads of said county, above the
amount now allowed by law.

51. An act amendatory of the act entitled, an act to in-
corporate the Pickell Mining Company, passed at January
session, 1853, chapter 407, and to change the name of the
said Company to the Piedmont Coal and Iron Company.

52. An act to amend an act entitled, an act incorporating
the Maryland Institute for the promotion of Mechanic Arts,
passed December session, 1849, chapter 114.

54. An act to incorporate the New Cut Turnpike Road

55. An act to prohibit the sale of intoxicating liquors in
the city of Annapolis, or within five miles thereof, to minors

56. An additional supplement to an act entitled, an act to
provide for the speedy collection of State and county taxes
in Baltimore county, and for other purposes, passed at Jan-
uary session, 1854, chapter 139.

57. An act to authorise the Circuit Court for Baltimore
city, to pass a decree for the sale of certain real estate belong-
ing to the Third Presbyterian Church, of the city of Balti-
more, and others.

58. An act to authorise the Peach Bottom Slate Mining
