59. A bill entitled, an act allowing a pension to Ellen
Shank, widow of the late John Shank, a private soldier of
the Maryland line in the revolutionary war, and appropriat-
ing a sum of money for the payment thereof.
60. An act for the relief of George Finley, former State
tax collector of Queen Anne's county.
61. A bill entitled, an act allowing a pension to Esther
Williams, widow of the late Henry Williams a soldier of
the Maryland line, during the revolutionary war, and appro-
priating a sum of money for the payment thereof.
62. A bill entitled, an act for the benefit of Catharine Wis-
tel, widow of Robert Purtle, a soldier of the Maryland line
during the revolution.
63. A bill entitled, an act to provide for the increase of
the per diem allowance of the Commissioners of Somerset
county.
64. An act to empower the County Commissioners of
Prince George's county, to allow laborers working on the
public roads in said county, a greater compensation.
65. An act to change the name of Samuel Albert Clagett,
of Anne Arundel county, to the name of Albert Clagett.
66. An act to allow a pension to Catharine S. McKim,
widow of Alexander McKim, a private in the cavalry in the
war of the revolution, and appropriating a sum of money for
the payment thereof.
67. An act to authorise the trustees of primary school dis-
trict number 69, of Frederick county, to sell the school house
in said district.
68. A bill entitled, an act to authorise the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore city, to levy hereafter upon the asses-
sable property within said city, a direct tax, not to exceed
the sum of eight hundred thousand dollars annually, with
full power by ordinance, to provide for the collection of the
same.
69. An act to authorise the commissioners of the tax of
Prince George's county, to sell the tobacco inspection ware-
house, in the Village of Piscataway, in said county.
70. A further supplement to an act passed at December
session, 1849, chapter 177, entitled an act to reduce the pre-
sent rates of premiums on wolf, wild cat, and foxes' scalps,
in Allegany county.
