CHAPTER 66.
|

AN ACT to allow a pension to Catharine S. Mc-
Kim, widow of Alexander McKim, a private in
the Cavalry, in the war of the Revolution, and
appropriating a sum of money for the payment
thereof.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That Catherine S. McKim,
widow of Alexander McKim, a private in the Cav-
alry, in the war of the Revolution, be and she is
hereby allowed a pension, equal to the half pay of
a private in the Cavalry, in consideration of the
services of her husband in the said war.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the sum of
three hundred and sixty dollars, being equal to
the half pay of a private in the cavalry, for six
years, commencing on the first day of January,
eighteen hundred and fifty-one, is hereby appro-
priated; and the Treasurer upon the warrant of
the Comptroller, is hereby directed to pay the said
sum of money, to Catherine S. McKim, or her
order, and annually hereafter, from the first day
of January, eighteen hundred and fifty-eight;
also to pay to the said Catherine S. McKim, the
sum of sixty dollars during life.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after its passage.
