CHAPTER 64.

AN ACT to empower the county Commissioners
of Prince George's county, to allow laborers
working on the public roads in said county, a
greater compensation.
|
|
|
Wages of la-
borers.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That hereafter in the annual
levy by the county Commissioners of Prince
George's county, they shall allow to persons
working as laborers on the roads of said county
the following rates; to a man hand, one dollar
and twenty-five cents per day; to a woman hand,
one dollar per day, to a boy, not less than ten
years of age, seventy-five cents per day; for one
yoke of oxen and cart, with driver, two dollars
and fifty cents per day; and for plow and two
horses with plowman, two dollars and fifty cents
per day.

Repealed.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all laws incon-
sistent with this act, be and they are hereby re-
pealed.

|
In force.
|
SEC 3. And be it enacted, That thin act shall
take effect and be in full force from the day of its
passage.

AN ACT to change the name of Samuel Albert
Clagett, of Anne Arundel county, to the name
of Albert Clagett.
|
|
|
Name changed.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That from and after the passage of this
act, the name of Samuel Albert Clagett, of Anne
Arundel county, be and the same is hereby
changed to. that of Albert Clagett, and by that
name he shall hereafter be called and known, and
sue and be sued, plead and be impleaded, in any
court of law or equity of this State.
