AN ACT entitled an act allowing a pension to
Esther Williams, a widow of the late Henry
Williams, a soldier of the Maryland Line dur-
ing the Revolutionary War, and appropriating
a sum of money for the payment thereof.
|
|
|
Treasurer to
pay.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Treasurer of Mary-
land pay, upon the warrant of the Comptroller,
to Esther Williams, widow of Henry Williams, a
soldier of the Maryland Line, during the Revolu-
tion, the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars,
being the arrears of pension for five years preced-
ing the passage of this act; and in addition there-
to, he pay to the said Esther Williams, an annuity
of thirty dollars per annum for the remainder of
her natural life.
