AN ACT to incorporate the Chloras Point Wharf
Company, at Chloras Point in Talbot county.

Incorporated.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That James L. Chamberlaine.
John W. Martin, Samuel Chamberlaine, Nicholas
Martin, Jr., Alexander H. Barnett, Nicholas
Willis and Solomon S. Hopkins, and their asso-
ciates, successors and assigns, be and they are
hereby created a corporation and body politic, by
the name of the Chloras Point Wharf Company,
and by that name may have succession, and shall
be able and capable in law to sue and be sued,
plead and be impleaded, answer and be answered
unto, in any court of law or equity in this State,
and to make and use a common seal, to ordain
and establish such by-laws and regulations as
shall be necessary and convenient for conducting
the affairs of said corporation.

Capital stock.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the capital stock
of said company shall not exceed the sum of five
thousand dollars, nor be less than the sum of one
thousand dollars, to be divided into shares of
twenty dollars each.

Management.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That for the manage-
ment of the affairs of said Company, the stock-
holders shall elect a President and not over five
directors, to manage the affairs for one year, or
until their successors shall be elected, a majority
