AN ACT to provide for the compensation of
James M. Schley for certain services performed
by him under the appointment of the Gover-
nor in the Court of Appeals of Maryland.

thorised to pay.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Treasurer be and he
is hereby directed to pay upon the warrant of the
Comptroller to James M. Schley, the sum of one
hundred and fifty dollars, in lull compensation
for arguments made by him, under an appoint-
ment by the Governor of Maryland, in the case of
Andrew Brash vs. the State, and in the case of
George Kellenbeck vs. the State.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.
