CHAPTER 353.
|
|
|
|
AN ACT appropriating a sum of money for the
use of James G. Henning, Clerk of the Circuit
Court of Montgomery County.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Treasurer is hereby
required on the warrant of the Comptroller, to
pay to James G. Henning, or his order, twenty-
three dollars and ninety-five cents, being the
amount due him as Clerk of the Circuit Court for
Montgomery county, by the State of Maryland.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from its passage.

AN ACT to authorise the County Commissioners
of Harford County, to sell their present Poor
House Farm and purchase another, and erect
suitable buildings for the use of the Paupers of
said county.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the County Commission-
ers of Harford county, be and they are hereby au-
thorised and empowered in their discretion to sell
either at public or private sale, and on such
terms as they may deem most advantageous, the
whole, or any part of the land now occupied as
the Poor House Farm of said county, and to pur-
chase another farm, or parcel of land containing
not less than thirty nor more than one hundred
acres, and to erect good, substantial and conve-
nient buildings either on the land so purchased,
or on such part of their present Poor House Farm
as they may determine to retain for the use of the
paupers of said County; Provided, that in any
sale which may be made under the authority of
