CHAPTER 333.

AN ACT to provide tor the compensation of
William F. Frick, for certain services rendered
by him under the appointment of the Governor,
in pursuance of an order passed by the House
of Delegates of Maryland, February the fourth
eighteen hundred and fifty-four, and for an
argument made in the Supreme Court of the
United States.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Treasurer be and he
is hereby directed to pay upon the warrant of the
Comptroller, to William F. Frick, the sum of
four hundred dollars, in full compensation for
services rendered the State by him, under an ap-
pointment by the Governor of Maryland, in pur-
suance of an order, passed by the House of Dele-
gates, on the fourth day of February, eighteen
hundred and fifty-four, and for an argument in
the Supreme Court of the United States, in the
case of Jonathan Huddleson, former superin-
tendent of the National Road vs. Stockton, Falls
and Co.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to amend the act entitled, an act to in-
corporate the Old Road Turnpike Company, in
Baltimore county.

section of the act, entitled an act to incorporate
the Old Road Turnpike Company, in Baltimore
county, passed at the present session of the Gen-
