AN ACT appropriating a sum of money for the
repairing and keeping in repair the State To-
bacco warehouses in the city of Baltimore.
|
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the sum of three thousand
dollars, or so much thereof as may he necessary,
he and the same is hereby appropriated, to put
and keep in repair the State Tobacco warehouses
in Baltimore city.

Treasurer to
pay.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Treasurer
be and he is hereby directed and required upon
the warrant of the Comptroller, to pay to said
parties employed by the said Comptroller the
amount of three thousand dollars, or so much
thereof as may be necessary, for the purpose there-
in mentioned.

Duty of Comp-

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That it shall be the
duty of the Comptroller, upon application of any
of the Tobacco Inspectors, to have such repairs
made from time to time, as in his judgment may
be necessary for the security and protection of
said houses.

Bills of repair
to be returned
to Comptroller.
|
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That all bills of re-
pairs shall be returned to the Comptroller, under
oath or affirmation, as the case may be, by the
party or parties having such bills, with such
vouchers as the Comptroller may require,

|
|
In force.
|
SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect on and after its passage.
