of the clerk of said court, immediately on the
receipt of said return, to open the same and
to place the names of the persons summoned as
Jurors, on separate ballots, and to draw the
same, separately, from a box or other suitable
receptacle, and to arrange the same, as drawn,
upon separate lists as Grand or Petit Jurors, in
the same manner as is now done by the Judge of
said court, at the beginning of each term of ses-
sion of same.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said clerk
shall cause a copy of the said lists of Jurors,
assorted as aforesaid, to be published in every
newspaper printed within said county, for two
successive weeks, the same to be inserted in each
of them for the first time, in the issue thereof
next after the said drawing and assortment.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That those persons
summoned as Jurors aforesaid, who shall, in the
said assortment, be allotted to serve during the
second week of the holding of said court, and
whose names shall be so published as aforesaid,
shall be exempted from attending on said court
during the first week of the holding thereof, un-
less specially required by the court to be in at-
tendance.

SEC. 4. And be it, enacted, That this act shall
take effect from its passage.
