CHAPTER 313.

A SUPPLEMENT to an act passed at December
session, eighteen hundred and twenty-six, chap-
ter one hundred and twenty-three, entitled an
act to incorporate the Baltimore and Ohio Rail
Road Company, providing for changing the
time of electing directors of said road to the
third Monday of November.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the directors of the Bal-
timore and Ohio Rail Road Company, shall be
chosen annually on the third Monday of Novem-
ber in every year, in the city of Baltimore, in-
stead of the third Monday of October, as is now
provided in a supplement to the act to which
this is a further supplement; and that the gen-
eral meeting of the stockholders of said company
to be held annually, shall be held at the time
and place herein appointed for the election of the
said directors.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That William L. Hodge,
Benjamin Ogle Hayler, James D. Armstrong,
Thomas Devecmon, Hope well Hebb, Peter Devec-
mon and Thomas Persey, and such other persons
as may be associated with them in manner here-
inafter provided, shall be and they are hereby
incorporated and made a body politic, by the
name and style of the Barton Coal Company,
and by that name shall have succession and be
able to sue and be sued, plead and be impleaded,
in any court of law and equity, and may have
