CHAPTER 45.

AN ACT to authorise "the Reed Rifle Corps,"
of the Twenty-first Regiment of Maryland
Militia, to erect an armory over the market
house in Chestertown, or on the public grounds
near the Court House in said town.

Passed Janu-
ary 25, 1858.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That "the Reed Rifle Corps,"
of the Twenty-first Regiment of Maryland Militia,
in Kent County, be and they are hereby authori-
sed to erect over the market house in Chestertown,
an armory, with an additional width of ten feet;
or at the option of the County Commissioners of
Kent County, upon the public grounds between
the Court House and Jail in said town; the
building not to exceed sixty by forty feet.

Authorised to
erect Armory.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all other acts in-
consistent with the provisions of this act be and
the same are hereby repealed.

Repealed.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 46.

In force.

AN ACT authorising the Trustees of the Bethel
Presbyterian Church, in Harford County, to
hold certain real estate in said county, for the
use of said Church.

Passed Febru-
ary 4, 1858.

WHEREAS, the trustees to whom had been conveyed
a lot of ground in Harford county, for the use
of the Bethel Congregation, have died without
appointing successors, as provided by the deed
of trust; and it is desired that said property
should be secured to the use of said corporation;
Therefore,

Preamble.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the lot of ground in Har-
ford county, consisting of three acres, heretofore,
