with said branch to the Nanticoke river, thence
with said river to the place of beginning.

Ing elections.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the place of
holding elections in district number twelve or
Williamsburg district, shall be at or near Wil-
liamsburg, at the house designated by the judges
of election for said district, or by the sheriff of
said county, and the place of election for district
number two, or New Market district, shall be held
in the village of New Market.

Officers to be
elected.
|
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That at the election
held in the year eighteen hundred and fifty-nine,
the voters of said district are authorised to elect
two justices of the peace, one constable and one
supervisor of the road; and at the name time,
election district number two or New Market dis-
trict, shall be entitled to two justices of the peace,
one constable and one road supervisor, and on
every second year thereafter.

AN ACT entitled, an act to appoint an addi-
tional Constable in Election District number
four, in Somerset county.
|

|
An additional
Constable to be
appointed.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That an additional constable be,
and he is hereby granted to said district, who shall
be appointed according to law, and shall have full
power to discharge all the duties, have all the
rights, and be subject to the same responsibilities
of any constable or constables now in existence in
said district.
