tion which may be brought to the established de-
pots of said railroad or railroads for the transpor-
tation under the restriction above stated.

SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That nothing here-
in contained shall be construed to give to the said
company banking privileges; and the Legislature
hereby reserves the right to alter, amend or repeal
the charter hereby created.

SEC. 11. And be it enacted, That this corpo-
ration shall be required to make an annual state-
ment of their affairs under the oath or affirmation
of their President, to be published once a week
for four successive weeks in one or more of the
newspapers in the cities of Cumberland and Bal-
timore.

SEC. 12. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 235.

In force.

AN ACT to lay off and establish a new election
district in Dorchester county, to be called Elec-
tion District Number Twelve, or Williamsburg
District.

2, 1858.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That a new election district be
formed and established, and the same is hereby
established in Dorchester county, out of election
district number two, otherwise called New Market
district, in said county, to be called and known by
the name of Williamsburg district.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the boundaries
of said election district shall be as follows, begin-
ning at the bridge over the Nanticoke river, at
Federalsburg, thence with the county road that
separates Dorchester from Caroline county, to
Hunting Creek, thence with said creek to Chop-
tank river, thence with said river to Blink Horn
Creek, thence with said creek to its head, or until
it intersects the county road leading from Cabin
creek to Hunting creek, thence with the Manor
