CHAPTER 231.
|
|
|
|
AN ACT to refund to Zadok Marshall, of Wor-
cester county, a certain sum of money errone-
ously paid into the Treasury.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Treasurer be, and he
is hereby authorised and directed, upon the war-
rant of the Comptroller, to pay to Zadok Marshall,
of Worcester county, the sum of twenty-one dol-
lars and eight cents, being the sum by which said
Marshall has overpaid his account as collector of
State tax for the years eighteen hundred and fifty-
four and fifty-five.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after the date of its passage.
CHAPTER 232.

AN ACT authorising William G. Nicholson, Re-
gister of Wills for Caroline county, to have re-
bound certain record books in his office.
|

2, 1858.
|
|
|
SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That William Q. Nicholson,
Register of Wills for Caroline county, be and he
is hereby authorised and directed to have rebound
such of the record books in his office as require it,
and the amount of money necessary to pay for the
same, shall be levied on the assessable property
of the county aforesaid, and collected and paid to
said Register as other county charges are levied,
collected and paid.

SEC 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
