or wards of such guardian may own, either joint-
ly with others or in severally, and such insur-
rance shall have the same lien and the same
effect in all respects as if such minors were of
full age and had made such insurance them-

SEC. 13. And be it further enacted, That in
any suit at law or in equity, by or against said
company, no member thereof shall, on that ac-
count, if he be not a party to such suit, in his or
her individual capacity, be incompetent an a wit-
ness for or against said company.

Charter to con-
tinue in force.
|
SEC. 14. And be it enacted, That this charter
shall continue and be in full force until the first
day of June, eighteen hundred and ninety-six ;

|
Proviso.
|
Provided, however, that the Legislature reserves
to itself the right to change, alter or annul this
act of incorporation at its pleasure.

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to be
expended in repairing the office of the Comp-
troller of the Treasury.

priated.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the sum of one hundred
dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary,
be and is hereby appropriated to be expended in
repairing the office of the Comptroller of the
Treasury.

|
In force.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from its passage.
|
