AN ACT to change the name of Jacob Morris to
John David Hanson.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the name of Jacob Morris,
of Charles county, in the State of Maryland, be
and the same is hereby changed to John David
Hanson; and it shall be lawful for the said Jacob
Morris, at all times hereafter, to be called and
known by, hold and use the name of John David
Hanson, and by that name to hold, receive, pur-
chase, sell, convey or devise property, whether
real or personal, and to sue and be sued in any
court of law or equity, or elsewhere.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
