CHAPTER 198.

AN ACT to change the place of holding elections
in the sixth Election District of Dorchester
county.

Passed March
5, 1858.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the place of holding
the elections in the sixth Election District of Dor-
chester county, from and after the passage of this
act, shall be at the store or dwelling house of
Robert H. Creighton, in said district, instead of
Fishing Creek Ferry, as now used and practised.

CHAPTER 199.

Place of hold-
ing elections.

AN ACT to make valid a certain deed therein
mentioned from John Hare and Catharine Hare,
his wife, to Robert Morrison.

4, 1858.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the deed heretofore made
and executed by John Hare and Elizabeth Hare,
his wife, to Robert Morrison, of Baltimore county,
State of Maryland, bearing date the fourteenth
day of August, in the year eighteen hundred and
forty-eight, and recorded on the third day of
February in the year eighteen hundred and fifty-
eight, among the land records of Baltimore
county, be and the same is hereby declared to be
as valid, and of the same force, operation and
effect, in law or equity, to all intents and purposes
as if the said deed had been recorded as provided

Made valid.

by law for recording deeds; Provided, that no-
thing herein contained shall be construed to pre-
judice the rights of any purchaser for valuable
consideration, or any bona fide creditor whose in-
terest or rights have accrued since the execution
and acknowledgment of said deed.
