CHAPTER 173.

AN ACT entitled an act to appoint an addi-
tional Constable in Election District number
two, in Worcester county.
|
|

An addition-
al Constable
granted.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That an additional Constable, be
and he is hereby granted to Election District
number two, in Worcester county, who shall be
appointed according to law, and shall have full
power to discharge all the duties, have all the
rights and be subject to the same responsibilities
of any other Constable or Constables now in ex-
istence in said district.

tion entitled to
elect two Con-
stables.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That at the next
general election, the voters of said district shall
be entitled to elect two Constables, for Election
District number two, of Worcester county, any
thing in any other act to the contrary notwith-
standing.

SBC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to authorise the Mayor and City Coun-
cil of Baltimore city, to dispose of any pro-
perty belonging to said city by lease or other-
wise.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Mayor and City Coun-
cil of Baltimore, be and they are hereby author-
ised to dispose of any property belonging to the

|

city, by lease or otherwise; Provided, that public
notice of such proposed lease or sale be given in
one or more of the public newspapers of said city,
at least once a week, for three successive weeks
before said lease or sale shall take place.
