SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after its passage.

CHAPTER 175.

In force.

AN ACT to authorise the Comptroller of the
State, to pay the balance of pension therein
mentioned.

2, 1858.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Treasurer of the State,
he and he is hereby required to pay upon the
warrant of the Comptroller, to Benjamin F. Byus,
of Dorchester county, the sum of three hundred
and twenty dollars, being the amount of balance
of pension due the said Lieutenant, William
Byus, at the time of his death, according to the
statement of the Comptroller, and which said
sum is to be paid to the said Benjamin F. Byus,
on behalf of himself and the legal representa-
tives of said Lieutenant William Byus, deceased.

Authorised to
pay.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 176.

In force.

AN ACT to incorporate the President and Direc-
tors of the Maryland Fire Insurance Company
of Baltimore, Maryland.
