the original act to which this is a further supple-
ment; but the bed of said artificial road shall not
be less than sixteen and one-half feet wide, and
said road shall in all other respects be made in
conformity with the provisions of the said original
act to which this a further supplement; Provided,
that the said road at all times, be kept on a level
or same grade with the main bed or centre of
said road.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after the day of its passage.

CHAPTER 155 .

Passed Febru-
ary 23, 1856.

AN ACT to authorise the Clerk of the Circuit
Court, for Talbot county, to copy portions of
certain Record Books.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, by act of Assembly, passed January
session, eighteen hundred and fifty-six, chap-
ter two hundred and twenty-four, the Clerk of
the Circuit Court for Talbot county, was au-
thorised to re-bind certain record books in his
office; And whereas, certain of the records are
in such condition, as that they cannot be re-
bound without having some of the leaves re-
copied: Therefore,

Clerk autho-
rised.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Clerk of the said Court
be and he is hereby authorised to re-copy such
portions of the records in his office, as the Judge
of the said court, upon examination, shall decide
to be necessary and proper.

Commission-
ers authorised.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Commis-
sioners of said county, be and they are hereby
authorised and required to levy upon the assess-
able property of said county, a sufficient sum to
pay for the expenses in re-copying as aforesaid.

ID force.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
go into effect from the date of its passage.
