SEC. 6. Be it further enacted, That copies of
the publications herein before authorised shall
be taken in all courts or elsewhere, to be prima
facie evidence of the publication of the originals

thereof; Provided, .said copies are printed and
are certified by the signature or signatures of some
person or persons purporting or professing to be
the printers or editors of said newspapers, to
have been published in said newspaper, for the
times mentioned in said certificate, which said
certificate and signature thereto, must be written
and not printed.; Provided, that the affidavit of
the President of said Association, shall be an-
nexed to said printed copy, and said certificate
stating that he verily believes that the said print-
ed notice was duly published in said newspaper,
in manner as stated in the aforegoing or written
certificate.

Proviso.

SEC. 7. Be it enacted, That so much of the
Charter of said Mining Association, as requires
the consent of every member thereof to the as-
sessments of the shares of capital stock thereon,
and all other laws which may be inconsistent
herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed.

Repealed.

SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That this
act shall take effect from the date its passage.

CHAPTER 154.

In force.

AN ACT to amend an act entitled "an act to in-
corporate the Dulaney's Valley and Towson-
town Turnpike Road Company in Baltimore
county," passed January session, eighteen hun-
dred and fifty-six, chapter twenty-four.

Passed Febru-
ary 23, 1858.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Mary/and, That the Dulaney's Valley and
Towsontown Turnpike Road Company shall not
be required to make the bed of the artificial road,
to be by said company constructed of the width
of twenty feet as is now required to be done by
