Repealed.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all acts in-
consistent with this act are hereby repealed, and
this act shall take effect from and after its pas-
sage.

AN ACT appropriating a sum of money in pay-
ment for legal services rendered by Brice J.
Goldsborough, Esq., at the request of the Gov-
nor of this State.

thorised.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Treasurer, upon the
warrant of the Comptroller, be and he is hereby
directed to pay unto Brice J. Goldsborough the
sum of fifty dollars in part payment for legal ser-
vices rendered by him at the request of the Gov-
ernor of this State in the prosecution of Solomon
Wilson, for murder, in the Circuit Court for Tal-
bot county, and said sum of fifty dollars is here-
by appropriated out of any unexpended money in
the treasury.

WHEREAS, It is represented to this General As-
sembly, that Daniel Benson, late of Somerset
county, died intestate, leaving a widow, five
children and several grand-children, children
