Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, it has been represented to the General
Assembly of Maryland, That William E. Liden
of Caroline county, is a minor, yet of such ma-
ture judgment and steady habits, as to qualify
him for the proper and discreet management of
his own affairs, and it has also been represented
that it would be greatly to his advantage to
enable him at this time to settle with his guar-
dian, and perform other acts as if he were of
legal age; Therefore,

Authorised to
settle with his
guardian.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That William E. Liden, be and
he is hereby authorised to settle with his guardian,
his father's administrator or any other person;
elect, take and receive any land, that may have
descended to him, either jointly, in coparcenary,
or otherwise, and do all acts in relation to his
property, and pass receipts to those who have had
charge of his estate, to divide and convey and do
all other things in reference to his property and
estate, as if he were twenty-one years of age.
