CHAPTER 13.

AN ACT amendatory of the act of Assembly
passed at December session, eighteen hundred
and thirty-four, chapter eighty-seven, and enti-
tled "an act to incorporate the Trustees of the
Education Fund of the Baltimore Annual Con-
ference.''

Passed Febru-
ary 10, 1858.

WHEREAS, by the act to which this is a supple-
ment, certain persons therein named and their
successors were created a corporation and body
politic, with the usual powers in such cases, and
authorized to take and hold, and invest certain
funds, and pay over the income thereof to the
Trustees of Dickinson College, as therein direc-
ted; And whereas, the control and direction of
said corporation both by means of the appoint-
ment of its Trustees and otherwise, was by said
act confided to the Baltimore Annual Confer-
ence; And whereas, the said Baltimore Annual
Conference has been divided into two bodies, one

division it has become proper that each of
said Conferences should hold an equal inter-

should he subject to their joint control and su-
pervision in the manner hereinafter provided ;
Therefore,

Preamble.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

act to which this a supplement be amended so as
to read as follows: Be it enacted, That it shall
and may be lawful for said corporation to have

shall be in money or other property, real or
personal, or means now or hereafter raised and
provided as aforesaid, or given by devise or be-
quest, and such other moneys and means as may
hereafter be paid or transferred with the sanction
of said Baltimore Annual Conference or said
East Baltimore Conference, to said corporation,
and it shall be the duty of said corporation, and

Second sec-
