LAWS OF MARYLAND.

Provisos.

Provided however, that it shall and may be law-
ful for said trustees to grant an allowance within
their discretion, to persons confined to his or her
bed with disease, and unable to be removed to said

poor-house, and said allowance may be continued
as long as said confinement and inability last, and
no longer: and provided also, that all persons
really necessitous, shall receive the usual amount
of pensions, when recommended by twenty-five of
the taxable inhabitants of the district, in which
he, she or they may reside.

Repealed.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That all laws ill-
consistent with the provisions of this act, be and
the same are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 108.

Passed Febru-
ary 25, 1858.

AN ACT to make valid the recording of a deed
from William Williams and wife, to George
David Racine, by the clerk of the Circuit
Court for Cecil county.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, William Williams and wife, of Cecil
county, by their deed, bearing date the twenty-
ninth day of January, in the year eighteen
hundred and forty-eight, conveyed to George
David Racine, of the same county, a lot of
ground in said deed mentioned; And whereas,
through ignorance or inadvertence, the said
deed was not filed for record in the office of the
clerk for Cecil county, until the twenty-fifth
day of May, in the year eighteen hundred and
fifty-seven, and at that time recorded by the
said clerk; Therefore,

Made valid.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the recording of the said
deed by the clerk of the Circuit Court for Cecil
county, as aforesaid, shall be as valid and effectual
to convey the property described in said deed, as
if it had been recorded within the time prescribed
