CHAPTER 81.

AN ACT appropriating a sum of money to pay J.
T. B. Dorsey, for services rendered in the case of
the State, against Shillinger, in the Court of Ap-
peals in eighteen hundred and fifty-four.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Trea-
ury, issue his warrant to the Treasurer, and the
Treasurer pay to J. T. B. Dorsey, Esquire, the sum
of one hundred dollars in full for his services to the
State in the trial of the case against Shillinger, in the
Court of Appeals, in the year eighteen hundred and
fifty-four.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT appropriating a sum of money for the
payment of the claims of James Murray, Thomas
A. Mitchell, Samuel S. Riley, Chaney and Pritch-
ard, John W. Davis, James H. League, Dixon,
Balbirnie & Co., James Hopkins, Noah Porter,
John T. Watkins, J. Wesley White, Jesse Hays
and James H. Iglehart, against the State of Mary-
land.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the sum of seventeen hun-
dred and sixty-nine dollars and fifty nine cents, be
and the same is hereby appropriated for the pay-
ment of the following claims against the State of
Maryland, viz: for the payment of the fees of James
Murray, Commissioner of the Land Office for servi-
ces rendered the State; for payment of Thomas A.
Mitchell for work and labor and materials furnished
and expenses incurred in repairs of State property;
for payment of Samuel S. Riley for repairing the en-
