SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That any process which
may have heretofore issued, or shall hereafter issue,
returnable to the third Monday of September terra next,
shall be considered returnable to the first Monday of
September term next.
|

Repealed.
|
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That so much of the
act passed at February session, eighteen hundred and
forty-five, entitled, an act to change the commence-
ment of the March term of the Court of Howard
District of Anne Arundel county be and the same is
hereby repealed.

AN ACT for the benefit of the legal representatives
of Thomas Woolford late a Lieutenant in the army
of the Revolution.
|
|
|
Treasurer to
pay.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer upon the warrant
of the Comptroller is hereby directed to pay to Thom-
as W. Byus, Benjamin Franklin By us, and Eliza
beth Byus, the legal representatives of Thomas
Woolford, late a Lieutenant in the war of the Revo-
lution the amount of the half pay of a Lieutenant in
the Revolutionary Army for seven years, and which
said sum of money shall be in lieu of all claim said
heirs or legal representatives may possess for bounty
land, rations and money expended by the said Thom-
as Woolford, in the recruiting service in the Army of
the Revolution.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from and after its passage.
|
