CHAPTER 73.

AN ACT amendatory to an act passed at January
session, 1854, entitled, an act to provide for the
opening of a docket by the Registers of Wills of
the State, for the entry of claims passed by the
Registers and Orphans' Courts against deceased
persons.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Registers of Wills of the city
of Baltimore, and the several counties of this State,
shall be allowed for the Registry of all claims, em-
braced in the first section of the act of January ses-
sion eighteen hundred fifty-four, chapter eighty-six,
entitled, an act to provide for the opening of a dock-
et by the Registers of Wills of this State, for the en-
try of claims passed by the Registers and Orphans'
Courts against deceased persons, the sum of five
cents, to be paid by the claimant, and that any thing
in the third section of the aforesaid act, inconsistent
with the provisions hereof, be and the same is hereby
repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
be in force from and after the date of its passage.

AN ACT to change the commencement of the Sep-
tember term of the Court of Howard county.
|

|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly,
of Maryland, That the terms of the Circuit Court
for Howard county shall be held on the third Monday
of March and on the first Monday of September.
|
Term time.
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the term com-
mencing on the first Monday of September, by virtue
of this act shall stand as and be considered as substi-
tuted for the third Monday of September term, in
reference to all cases now on the docket of said Court
