maintenance and support of Margaret Jane Paradise,
of said county, who is very much deformed and has
but a very imperfect vision; Provided, they shall be
of opinion that the said Margaret Jane Paradise
ought to be supported by the county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to authorise the devise and bequest of Mar-
garet A. Ward, to the Trustees of the Methodist
Episcopal Churches at Kingston and Merumsco, in
Somerset county.

WHEREAS, Margaret A. Ward, late of Somerset
county, deceased, devised for the benefit and use
of the Methodist Episcopal Church, at Kingston,
the sum of fifty dollars, and for the benefit and use
of the Methodist Episcopal Church at Merumsco,
the sum of one hundred dollars; Therefore

Preamble.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the leave of the Legislature is
hereby given to carry into effect the bequest or devise
in the will of Margaret A. Ward, late of Somerset
county, deceased, in favor of the trustees of the Me-
thodist Episcopal Churches at Kingston and Merum-
sco, in Somerset county, and the executor or admin-
istrator of said Margaret is hereby authorised to pay
over the said sums whenever he shall thereto be re-
quested by the trustees of the aforesaid Churches.
