AN ACT appropriating a sum of money to pay .J.
Mason Campbell for services rendered the State in
the trial of the case of the State of Maryland against
Isaac R. Smith, in the Supreme Court of the Uni-
ted States.

priated.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the sum of five hundred dol-
lars is hereby appropriated to pay to J. Mason Camp-
bell, Esquire, for services rendered the State in the
trial of the case of the State against Isaac R. Smith,
in the Supreme Court of the United States, in the
year eighteen hundred and fifty-five.

Treasurer to
pay.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Comptrol-
ler issue his warrant, and the Treasurer thereon pay
to J. Mason Campbell, Esquire, for his services above
mentioned, the sum of five hundred dollars.
