CHAPTER 58.

AN ACT to authorize the Appeal Tax Court of
Baltimore City, to hear the appeal of Murray am
Hazlehurst.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Appeal Tax Court of
Baltimore City be, and it is hereby authorized to hear
and determine the appeal of Murray and Hazelehurst,
of said city, from an assessment under the act of
eighteen hundred and fifty two, chapter three hun-
dred and thirty seven, as though said appeal had been
taken and prosecuted within the time allowed by
law.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 59.

In force.

AN ACT to authorize the Register of Wills, and the
Clerk of the Circuit Court of Worcester county,
to have the record books in their respective offices
repaired.

WHEREAS, several of the important record books in
the office of the Register of Wills and Clerk of the
Circuit Court for Worcester county are in a dilap-
idated condition and require repairs; Therefore,

Preamble.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That George B. Gray, Register of
Wills, and Edward D. Martin, Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Worcester county be, and they are hereby
authorized to remove said books to the city of Haiti-
more and have them repaired.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Commission-
ers or said county be, and they are hereby authorized
and required to levy upon the assessable property of
said county, a sufficient sum to pay the cost and ex-
penses incurred for the repair of said books.
