Methodist Protestant Church, situate at Uniontown, in Carroll

123. An act amendatory of an act entitled, an act to continue
the corporate existence of the several banking institutions therein
mentioned, passed at January session, eighteen hundred and fifty-
three, chapter four hundred and forty-one, so far as relates to the
Merchants' Bank of Baltimore.

124. An act authorising the county commissioners of Frederick
county, to remove from the assessment of said county, an abscond-
ing negro man, a slave for life, now assessed to Thomas J. Grif-
fith.

125. An act to provide for the sale of the lands reserved for the
use and occupation of the Choptank Indians in Dorchester county.

126. An act granting the leave of the Legislature to the devise
and bequest made by Levi Hilleary, late of Allegany county, de-
ceased, to the Vestry of Emanuel Parish; and also to the devise
and bequest made by the said testator to John Hays in trust, as
declared in the will of said testator.

the act of eighteen hundred and twenty, chapter one hundred and
ninety-one, to compel the purchasers at their sales to comply with
the terms of sale, or in case of refusal or neglect, to re-sell the pro-
