85. An act to authorise the county commissioners of Kent
county, to re-hear and examine the return of commissioners ap-
pointed to locate a public road from the public road leading to
Bel Air, to the landing of James F. Browns' heirs and devisees, so
far as the question of damages is involved, and to authorise appeals
to the circuit court by the parties interested.

86. An act to authorise the justices of the peace, in the several
election districts of Allegany, Somerset, Harford, Caroline and
Cecil counties, to deliver their dockets and all official papers ap-
pertaining thereto, into the hands of their respective successors in
office.

87. An act to authorise the Orphans' Courts of Kent, Caroline,
Somerset and Worcester counties, and justices of the peace, bind-
ing out negro children, to regulate freedom dues to the apprentices
and secure a compensation to the parent or other persons for rais-
ing such children.

88. An act for the relief of Ann Brown and William J. Stone.

89. An act to provide for the compensation of Charles J. M.
Gwinn, for certain services performed by him under the appoint-
ment of the Governor, in the Court of Appeals of Maryland.

in Howard county, passed at January session, eighteen hundred

ers of Harford county, to sell or manumit certain negro slaves be-
longing to said county.

92. An act amendatory of the act entitled, an act to incorporate
the Metropolitan Railroad Company, passed January session, eigh-
teen hundred and fifty three.

93. An act entitled, an act to amend an act entitled, "an act to
incorporate the Mechanics Exchange and Savings Company" for
the purpose of making loans, collection of notes, drafts, &c., passed
January session, eighteen hundred and fifty two, allowing said
Institution the privileges embraced under the act entitled, an act to
continue the corporate existence of the several banking institutions,
therein mentioned, passed at January session, eighteen hundred
and fifty three, chapter four hundred and forty one.

94. An act to pay Mountjoy B. Luckett, for services rendered
the State in the case of the State against Basil Eves, of Frederick
county, indicted for murder.

95. An act to make valid and amend articles of incorporation of
the "Boys School of St. Paul's Parish," in the city of Baltimore,
incorporated under the act of eighteen hundred and forty six, chap-
