Released from
the payment of
interest.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the sureties on the official
bonds of Thomas F. W. Vinson, former collector of
the fourth election district of Montgomery county,
be and they are hereby released from the payment of
all interest on the State's claims against said Vinson;
Provided, that the amount due for principal on said
claims, together with all costs that shall or may have
accrued by reason of suits thereon, shall be paid on
or before the first day of September next, upon the
adjustment of said claims by the Comptroller; Pro-
vided, however, that the said sureties shall not be re-
leased from the payment of such interest as has been
received by the said collector or his sureties, nor for
such as may be due by the tax payers on the taxes
now due by them, nor from the interest accruing on
the principal from the passage of this act.

AN ACT amendatory of an act entitled an act to in-
corporate the village of Bladensburg, in Prince
George's county, passed at January session eigh-
teen hundred and fifty-four, chapter one hundred
and thirty-seven.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That so much of an act passed at January
session eighteen hundred and fifty-four, chapter one
hundred and thirty-seven, entitled an act to incorpo-
rate the village of Bladensburg in Prince George's
county, as authorises and empowers the commission-
ers appointed by virtue of said act to levy and collect
