SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from its passage.

CHAPTER 304.

In force.

AN ACT for the relief of the heirs at law of John
Cochran, late of New Castle county, in the State
of Delaware, deceased, and to authorise the deliv-
ery of a certain deed therein mentioned.

Passed Mar.

10, 1856.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That from and after the passage of this act
Louis Gassaway, Keeper of the records of the Court
of Chancery, in whose custody is a deed dated thir-
tieth day of March, in the year seventeen hundred
and ninety-eight, executed by John Cochran and Ma-
ry Cochran, his wife, and Rebecca Hynson, of New
Castle county, in the State of Delaware, to Engle-
hard Yeiser, merchant, of the city of Baltimore, (filed
as an exhibit, C, in the suit of John Cochran against
Englehard Yeiser's executors, in the former Chan-
cery Court holden at Annapolis,) be and he is here-
by authorised to deliver said original deed to any
one of the heirs at law of said Englehard Yeiser,
now deceased, or their counsel, taking a receipt
therefor, and retaining a copy thereof, to the correct-
ness of which he shall certify, and file the same as
part of the papers in said suit; which said copy
shall have the same force and effect, as an exhibit in
said case, as the original deed so filed could have.
