AN ACT, to change the name of Washington A. D.
Ridgway, of Baltimore city, to the name of Wash-
ington A. Danskin, Junior.
|
|
|
Name changed.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That from and after the passage of this
act, the name of Washington A. D. Ridgway, of
Baltimore city, be and the same is hereby changed
to that of Washington A. Danskin, Junior; and by
that name he shall hereafter be called and known, and
by that name shall sue and be sued, plead and be im-
pleaded in any court of law or equity of this State.

AN ACT for the relief of the securities of William
Nevet, former Collector of Charles county.
|

|
Released from
the payment of
interest.
|
SECTION. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the securities upon the offi-
cial bond of William Nevet, former Collector of
Charles county, be and they are hereby released from
the payment of interest upon the State's claim against
|
|
|

them; provided, that the said William Nevet, or his
securities, shall on or before the first day of Septem-
ber, next ensuing the passage of this act, upon the
assessment of the said State claims by the Comp-
troller of the treasury, pay the principal, and all costs
which may be found due by them, and all interest
paid by them or yet due by Tax-payers.

Proviso.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
|
