an election, forthwith to issue to the person so elect-
ed his commission for the terra of service for which
he has been elected.

SEC. 4. Be it enacted, That this act shall go into
effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to authorise the commissioners of Haiti
more county to levy the sum of money therein
named.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the commissioners of Balti-
more county be and they are hereby authorised and
required at the time of making the next county levy for
said county, to levy the sum of eight hundred dollars
upon the assessable property of the second election
district of said county, to be collected in the same man-
ner and at the same time that the county taxes are now
by law collected, and to apply the said amount, when
collected, or so much thereof as may be necessary to
the full discharge of the liabilities of Cornelius How-
ard Owings, of said county, upon his bond, as one
of the sureties of Jesse M. Lowe, as defaulting col-
lector of taxes for said county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from and alter the date of its passage.
