cause, they shall order the said Register to transcribe
the same in new books to be provided by the said
Register at the expense of the county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the commission-
ers of Worcester county, be and they are hereby directed
to levy upon the taxable property of Worcester county,
such sum of money as the said services shall amount
to at the usual rates allowed to Registers of Wills for
recording.

CHAPTER 202.

Authorised to

AN ACT appropriating a sum of money to William
A. Spencer, Clerk of the Court of Appeals of Ma-
ryland, for fees due him.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Treasurer, upon the war-
rant of the Comptroller, is hereby authorised and re-
quired to pay to William A. Spencer, clerk of the
Court of Appeals of Maryland, the sum of five hun-
dred and ninety five dollars and sixty one cents,
(595 61) being the amount due him by the State for
fees.
