the said Orphans' Court shall pass its order for said
sale, which sale, whether made at private or public
sale, shall be reported to said court, and ratified if no
objection to the sale thereof be sustained by said
court.

Proceeds of
sale applied.

SBC. 2. And be it enacted, That the proceeds of
said sale shall, under the direction of said court, be
applied to the purchase of a lot in some incorpora-
ted Cemetery in the city or county of Baltimore, the
deed whereof shall on its face, express that said lot
shall be "exclusively for the use of the family of and
which are connected with Robert Turner;" and if
said proceeds of sale exceed the amount of the pur-
chase of said Cemetery lot, then the surplus to be
used in embellishing the same.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect and go into operation from its passage.

CHAPTER 180.

AN ACT entitled an act to make valid a deed from
the Llangollen Mining Company to George W.
Kildow.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General Assem-
bly, that on the twenty-second day of May, one
thousand eight hundred and fifty-four, the Llan-
gollen Mining Company executed their deed to
George W. Kildow, of Allegany county, purport-
ing to convey a certain piece of land lying and be-
ing in Allegany county, and which said deed was
regularly recorded in Liber, H. R., No. 11, folio
613, one of the land records of Allegany county,
and which said deed is signed by H. F. Talmadge,
President of said Mining Company, and the cor-
porate seal of said Company affixed by the said
President; And whereas, doubts exist as to the
validity of said deed by reason of certain defects
in the acknowledgement of the said deed; there-
fore,
