CHAPTER 134.

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay
Edward W. Belt, late Clerk of the Circuit Court
for Prince George's County, for certain fees due him
by the State.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer, upon the warrant
of the Comptroller, be and he is hereby authorised
and directed to pay to the order of Edward W. Belt,
late Clerk of the Circuit Court of Prince George's
county, the sum of forty-six dollars and forty-five
cents, being the amount due him from the State, for
the year eighteen hundred and fifty-five.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 135.

In force.

AN ACT to refund to John C. Mullikin, administra-
tor of Owen Norfolk, late Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Prince George's county, and to William
A. Jarboe, Register of Wills for same county, cer-
tain sums of money erroneously paid into the
Treasury.

8, 1856.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer be and he is here-
by authorised and directed to pay, upon the warrant
of the Comptroller, to the order of John C. Mullikin,
administrator of Owen Norfolk, late clerk of the Cir-
cuit Court for Prince George's county, the sum of
four hundred and eighty-seven dollars and fifty cents;
and to the order of William A. Jarboe, Register of
Wills for said county, the sum of two hundred and
twenty-five dollars, being the amounts erroneously
paid into the Treasury by the said Owen Norfolk, in
his life-time, and the said William A. Jarboe, under
the provisions of the act passed at December session,
