Duty of Keep-
er of Records.

SEC.4. And be it enacted, That it shall be the

duty of the aforesaid Keeper, without unnecessary
delay, to transmit to the several counties and to the
city of Baltimore, all the cases and proceedings in
said court now undisposed of and unfinished, at the
expense of the State, whether applied for by the
counsel of the parties, or the parties themselves, or
not.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 133.

Passed Mar.
8, 1856.

AN ACT entitled an act to pay John T, Wright, a
sum of money for services rendered by him as
Assistant Door-keeper to the Senate.

Treasurer to
pay.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer of the State be
and he is hereby authorised and directed to pay
upon the warrant of the Comptroller of the State, to
John T. Wright, or to his order, the sum of one
hundred and fifty dollars, for services rendered by him
as Assistant Door-keeper to the Senate, under an or-
der passed by the Senate on the tenth day of March
eighteen hundred and fifty-four.

In force.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect and go into operation from the day of its pas-
sage.
