by and with a private road, dividing the lands of
John C. Horsey and Southey Miles, to the county
road leading from Kingston to Jefferson's corner;
thence by and with the said county road to White's
road; thence by and with White's road, to the dis-
trict bridge, at what is called the Branch, near John
Miles; thence by and with East creek to the Poco-
moke, dividing the lands of Littleton Whittington
and Nathaniel Tull; all that part lying South and
West of the aforesaid line, and included in what was
formerly called Brinkley's district, to constitute the
aforesaid election district, number fourteen or Law-
son's district, and all the remaining portion to consti-
tute Brinkley's district, number six, as heretofore.

Place of hold
ing elections.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the place of
holding elections for Lawson's district, number four-
teen, shall be held at Samuel Sterling's store; and
the place for holding elections for Brinkley's district
shall be at the store, lately occupied by Henry Mill-
bourne, deceased, and owned by the heirs of Stephen
Ward.

AN ACT approbating a sum of money for the pay-
ment of William Snyder, for services rendered to
the State.
|
|
|
Treasurer to
pay.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
of Maryland, That the Treasurer on the warrant of
the Comptroller is hereby required to pay to Wil-
liam Snyder, or his order, one hundred and fifty dol-
lars, being in full for services rendered the State,
by the recovery of the roll books belonging to said
State, under directions of the late Attorney General.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from its passage.
