Nothing in this section shall be construed to relieve those operating
under Interstate Commerce Commission exemption, or on an inter
INTRA-state basis, from filing evidence of insurance as specified.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 80 (a) (Classes N, 0, P, Q and S) of
Article 66i/2 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1954 Supple-
ment), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title "Administration—Regis-
tration—Titling", and to enact in lieu thereof a new Section 80
(a) (Class N), to follow immediately after Section 80 (a) (Class
M) thereof, relating to the registration fee applicable to all classes
of transporters of vehicles, and to repairers and wreckers of
vehicles.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 80 (a) (Classes N, O, P, Q and S) of Article 66 1/2 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1954 Supplement), title "Motor
Vehicles", sub-title "Administration — Registration — Titling", be
and it they are hereby repealed, and that a new Section 80 (a)
(Class N) be and it is hereby enacted to stand in the place and
stead of the sections so repealed, and to follow immediately after
Section 80 (a) (Class M) thereof, and to read as follows:
80.
(a) (Class N. Transporters of Vehicles.) Twenty five Dollars
($25.00) FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00) for the first set of registra-
tion plates issued to each transporter of vehicles and Five Dollars
($5.00) TEN DOLLARS ($10.00) for each additional set of regis-
tration plates issued to any transporter of vehicles.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.
